I am going to let you in on a little secret – I have never ever celebrated Valentine’s Day. 🙃
Yes, it is true. Somehow I have never felt the need to mark a particular day to celebrate love. But as a self-appointed party planner, I had to do something about it.🤷🏽♀️
Only when I started planning and crafting for Valentine’s Day, I realised how beautiful it is to celebrate an emotion!❤️
We celebrate relationships on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Friendship’s Day, e.t.c. But how nice is it to have a day to Celebrate Love!
Valentine’s Day Celebrations
I decided to celebrate it with my son and treat him to something special for the day.
“Love is all you Need”
Well, sure you need love, but what about Chocolates and Cupcakes and Doughnuts and Sprinkles and Confetti?
I made him a Tray of stuff which he truly loves-
- A cupcake (Theobroma)
- Heart-shaped jam-filled doughnut (Mad Over Doughnuts)
- Strawberry Milkshake with lots of sprinkles
- Hershey Kisses
- 3 D glasses
- Movie tickets for 2 to watch Jumanji coz we both love that movie
- A promise to buy him pizza.
- 2 lip props to take pictures with.
Another thing he really loves is Books. But I just can’t think of a suitable book to give him for Valentine’s day. Any suggestions?
I tried some Valentine’s Day Crafts just because it was so much fun, go see them here if you want to be inspired to try some yourself.
The whole set-up looked gorgeous and my son absolutely relished all the treats.
Let me know in the comments below who is going to get your love this Valentine’s Day and what do you plan to do.
Come back soon for more party and craft inspiration or just to show me some Love!
